15 Fat Burning Foods

Fat burning foods take almost as much calories to burn during digestion than they contain. By incorporating in your diet many of these foods, you are able to lose weight and stay full. Keep your blood sugar from fluctuating by eating these foods throughout the day. Jump start your metabolism in the morning with a breakfast full of fruits, vegetables and lean meats.

Fruits

According to Janet Starr Hull, Ph.D., CN, fat burning foods reduce the calories in fatty foods by eliminating their fat before it can be stored by the body. By eating fruits that are low in calories and have a lot of fiber to digest, you are able to pair these fruits with fatty foods like cheese and meats to avoid gaining weight. Fruits that have a lot of pulp and fiber to digest include apples, oranges, limes, grapefruit, tangerines and guava. In addition, watermelon is effective for eliminating toxins from the body and removing excess water. Eat when you feel bloated or after ingesting high sodium foods.

Vegetables

Most vegetables have some form of natural fiber. When soluble fiber is digested it forms a gel in the digestive tract. This gel keeps you staying full longer and requires energy to be digested. Vegetables rich in soluble fiber include carrots, artichokes, eggplant, broccoli, tomatoes and celery.

Protein

Numerous sources of protein require a lot of energy to burn. Most of these foods are shellfish and fish. One 4 oz. fillet of tilapia has 93 calories and four large shrimp have 22 calories all together. The list of fat burning protein includes crabs, clams, mussels, lobsters, oysters, shrimp, sea bass and flounder. Create meals by steaming one of these proteins and pairing a fat burning vegetable like spinach. You can also make a salsa using foods like tomatoes and limes to add on top of shrimp.

List of Foods That Cause Cellulite

Cellulite is excess fat immediately underneath the skin. It is a misconception that you must be overweight if you have cellulite. Even thin people may have cellulite. While it is genetic and some people are more prone to having visible cellulite, it can be prevented and reversed. Certain foods are more likely to cause a person to get cellulite.
  1. 1.Fats

    2.Processed Junk Food
    3.Alcohol

What You Should Be Eating

  • Essential fatty acids is what you want to aim to eat more of if your goal is to diminish or prevent cellulite. Essential fatty acids are healthy for the body because they keep the cells flexible and strong. When the cells lose strength and flexibility, that is when the lumpy cellulite appearance shows up. It is also important to drink at least eight glasses of water a day to help keep your whole body and system hydrated and to flush out any toxins you may consume through food.

How to Lose The Cellulite

Instructions

    • 1
      Try laser lipo.
This cellulite treatment uses a laser to dissolve the fat, which is then suctioned off through small incisions that are made in the skin. Your cellulite removal sessions lasts for about an hour and most patients are able to go back to work within one or two days.
    • 2
Exercise at least three times a week.
Regular exercise as well as a healthy diet and drinking plenty of fresh water can be helpful to reduce cellulite. Just remember that everything takes time and you're not going to find an instant cure for cellulite.
    • 3
      Massage the cellulite.
A weekly massage can be very helpful to reduce cellulite and increase circulation. Poor circulation is thought by some to be one of the causes of cellulite so this is one area that you don't want to neglect.

HOW TO GET SKINNY LEGS & THIGHS

1. DIET FOR SLIM LEGS & THIGHS

1. Determine caloric requirements
2. Low carb nutritional plan
3. Frequent small meals

2. CARDIOVASCULAR EXERCISE FOR SLIM LEGS & THIGHS

Try doing 5 days per week of cardiovascular exercise. Your exercise routine should include 30 to 45 minutes of aerobic exercise (moderate intensity) and interval training, which you can do on alternate days. HIIT (high intensity interval training) is incredibly effective at getting rid stubborn fat. If you can, add some circuit training into the mix. This will strip the fat off your legs and develop shapely muscle for fantastic definition. If you feel you have overly muscular legs, avoid interval training and stick to long duration cardio instead. This will strip fat and even decrease the size of your leg muscle a little (read more about slim down leg muscle here) to develop leaner, smaller legs. However, most women need to increase leg muscle to increase the shape and fimness of the thighs and get rid of cellulite. Generally onlymesomorphic women have no need to increase leg muscle, as they tend to already have muscular legs and any increase may cause bulky leg muscles.
Try choosing exercises that directly use your legs, i.e. power walking, jogging, in-line skating, step machine, aerobic or spinning classes. The benefit is that you are burning fat, as well as developing your leg muscles. As your body fat drops and you develop tight muscles in your legs, you will start to notice a leaner look. If you are already doing cardio that directly uses your leg muscles, increase the difficulty and definitely add interval training to your workout.

How to lose weight fast

This is my new post and it's all about how to lose weight fast and quickly.. Read these steps and enjoy your life ... and get a perfect body!

How to lose weight fast

1. Drink plenty of water. Our body needs a lot of water so give in to water. Water is not just way to flush out toxin but if you have more water in your body you will generally feel healthier and fitter. This it self will discourage any tendency to gorge. The best thing about water is that is has no calories at all.
2. Start your day with a glass of water. As soon as you wake up, gulp down a glass of cool water. It’s a wonderful way to start you day and you only need a lesser quantity of your breakfast drink after that. A glass of water lets out all your digestive juices and sort of lubricates the insides of your body. You may have your morning cup of tea but have it after a glass of water. It is good for you.
3. Drink a glass of water before you start the meal. Water naturally needs some space so that you feel fuller without actually having to stuff yourself.
4. Have another glass of water while you are having the meal. Again this is another great how to lose weight fast super tip and a way of making yourself full, another great weight loss tips, so that you can actually rise from the table eating less but feeling full just the same. Instead of drinking it one gulp, take sips after each morsel. It will help the food to settle faster so that you get that feeling that you are full faster. SIDENOTE: Water is such a remarkable thing, but seldom do we give it the credit that it deserves. Did you know that over 66% of your body weight is nothing but water’ It’s amazing! Water also plays a vital role in weight control, which is why I donated so much space to it, above.
5. Stay away from sweetened bottle drinks, especially sodas. Hey all those colas and fizzy drinks are sweetened with sugar and sugar means calories. The more you can cut out on these sweetened bottle drinks, the better for you. So if you must drink sodas, then stick to diet sodas.
6. Include in your diet things that contain more water like tomatoes and watermelons. These things contain 90 to 95 % water so that there is nothing that you have to lose by feasting on them. They fill you up without adding to the pounds.
7. Eat fresh fruit instead of drinking fruit juice. Juice is often sweetened but fresh fruits have natural sugars. When you eat fruit, you are taking in a lot of fiber, which is needed by the body, and fruits of course are an excellent source of vitamins.
8. Fix times to have meals and stick to it. Try to have food at fixed times of the day. You can stretch these times by half an hour, but anything more than that is going to affect your eating pattern, the result will either be a loss of appetite or that famished feeling which will make you stuff yourself with more than what is required the next time you eat.
9. Eat only when you are hungry. Bonus how to lose weight fast tips here–> (make sure you are not just thirsty!) Some of us have the tendency to eat whenever we see food. We use parties as an excuse to stuff our selves. Understand that the effect of a whole week of dieting can be wasted by just one day’s party food.
10. Go easy on tea and coffee. Tea and coffee are harmlessby themselves. It’s when you add the cream and sugar that they become fattening. Did you know that having a cup of tea or coffee that has cream and at least two cubes of sugar is as bad as having a big piece of rich chocolate cake’
11. God gave us teeth for a reason... Therefore we should develop a habit of chewing all food including liquid food and soft foods like sweets, ice creams at least 8 to 12 times. This is essential to add saliva to the food, as it is only in the saliva that sugar is digested. Often we find that whatever goes into our mouth goes down like lightning. We hardly give the saliva any time to act on the food. So does digestion take place like it should’ Do we just stuff our tummies with food that doesn’t get digested or in other words that doesn’t yield the benefits that it should’

How to Dress Like Blair Waldorf

Blair Waldorf Style

Blair’s style is very classic, preppy, and polished. She always looks as if she stepped out of a department store window; her outfit is flawless, and she never has a hair out of place. Blair’s fashion sense is definitely the quintessential upper-east-side stereotype, and she’s not ashamed of it!
Blair would never step outside with unwashed hair, wear an outfit that didn’t match, or buy anything “distressed” or “boho chic.”  That said, here are some of Blair’s signature looks, pieces you can almost always catch Ms. Waldorf wearing around the streets of Manhattan.
Dresses & Skirts

When I was looking for photos of Leighton Meester / Blair Waldorf, I quickly realized that I couldn’t find a single photo of her wearing pants! Blair is all about skirts and dresses, worn with tights in the winter and bare legs in the warmer months. She’s not into denim at all, so if you want to dress like Blair, forget about jeans.

Tailored, Classic Pieces

Since she attends an upscale private school, many of Blair’s outfits are school-uniform appropriate. That means she wears lots of collared shirts, simple skirts, and ties. You can channel a little bit of prep school chic yourself with a structured button-up blouse and navy blue skirt. For extra Blair appeal, add a brightly colored headband and tights.

Blair’s Accessories

Headbands

Blair’s signature hair accessories are her hundreds of different headbands!  From tartan to satin, Blair wears her headbands in every style you can imagine. She usually wears them with her hair down, but occasionally pulls a headband over a sleek bun or ponytail.
Tights

In the winter months, Blair’s wardrobe revolves around tons of different pairs of tights. This season, she rocked every shade of tights imaginable, from bright red, to white, gray, and the ever popular black opaque tights. Tights are on the way out because warmer weather is fast approaching, but of course you can still wear them on cold days or if the mood strikes this summer.
Blair’s Hairstyles

Blair Waldorf almost always wears her medium length brown hair down in loose waves with lots of volume. These aren’t Serena’s messy curls, though. Blair always looks polished, and her hair is no exception.
To do your hair like Blair’s in the picture above:
  • First, shampoo your hair (Blair would never have dirty hair!) If your hair is thin, use a volumizing shampoo like Pantene Pro-V Sheer Volume. If your hair is thick, your normal shampoo will work fine.
  • Blow dry your hair smooth with your normal styling products.
  • If your hair is naturally very curly, you will want to straighten it with a flat iron before you curl it (this will give you Blair’s super-smooth look!) If you have naturally straight hair, use a curling product likeJonathan Create Curl Curling Serum  to help bring out your natural waves.
  • Separate your hair into sections, and starting with the bottoms layers of hair, curl strands with a 1 inch barrel curling iron. After curling, spray each tendril with medium-hold hairspray.
  • Finish your hair off with a shine spray like Aquage Beyond Shine 5oz (amazing stuff), or Citre Shine Spray Laminator to eliminate frizz and make your hair super-shiny and perfect looking like Blair’s!

How to Look 10 Pounds Thinner Instantly

Tip #1: Be Yourself!
The most important thing that you need to know when shopping for clothes is this: Don’t buy something just because it looks good on someone else. Most likely, that person doesn’t have the same body shape that you do and clothes just won’t fit the same on both of you. If you like an outfit on someone else, try it on and get a second opinion before you buy. You want to look comfortable in your clothes and like you belong in them.

Tip #2: Wear Flattering Tops
When deciding on a shirt, jacket or other top, the first thing you need to know is whether you want to accentuate any part of your upper torso or if you’re looking to downplay something, like a large chest. If you’re a top-heavy girl, avoid empire-cut waists and colors and patterns that draw attention to your chest.

Tip #3: Find the Perfect Pants
There are four basic rules for choosing slimming jeans and pants:
1) Ditch the high-waisted jeans or pants. Although they may appear slimming in the front, especially at the waistline, they only serve to make your bottom look twice as big.

Instead, choose pants that sit lower on your hips, but not so low that your love handles are pushed up and out.

2) Tapered or pegged pants make wide hips look even larger, as they create an upside-down triangle from your hips to your feet that accentuates your middle.

The best cut for wide hips is bootcut pants, which have a slight flare at the bottom to balance out your hips and create long, lean, vertical lines.

3) Never wear high waters (pants that are just a few inches too short). The hem of your pants should fall to the bottom of the heel of your shoe.

Tip #4: Choose Slimming Skirts
Choosing the right skirt is very important. The basic rule of thumb for skirts is that the hemline should never stop at the widest part of your leg, which is usually the calf.

Instead, skirts need to fall right above the knee or below the calf, which features the slimmest portion of your leg.

If you choose a skirt with an especially full style, it would be best worn ankle length. Slits in skirts can be especially flattering when placed on the side. This creates fluid movement when walking and makes for a comfortable wear.

But be careful with front or back slits, which can be difficult to walk in and are generally unflattering... unless you have amazing legs.

Tip #5: Practice Better Posture
The best-planned outfits won’t be flattering if you’re hunched over with bad posture.
By squaring your shoulders (pulling them back) and sucking your navel to your backbone (pulling in the stomach) you can instantly look 2-3 inches taller and 10 pounds slimmer.

Building strong abs is the best way to help you pull your belly in all day, and running is just the trick for slimming down and getting a flat stomach. Resistance training is also an important part of your exercise program and can help tone flabby problem areas, especially the arms.

If you’re happy with your size, then show it off with confidence. But if you’re feeling flabby and frumpy, you can’t count solely on great clothes to help you find confidence. Join a gym, consult with a nutritionist, hire a personal trainer, or just get out there and do it yourself. After all, if you lose 10 pounds and use these tricks for how to look 10 pounds thinner in your clothes, you can appear 20 pounds thinner with just half the effort!

Summer boots 2011

*There is the new trend in the world summer boots...
When summer comes around, most girls put away their favorite pair of boots and start shopping for colorful gladiators and open-toed flats. This summer, however, is different: Boots aren’t going away. To switch things up a bit, bloggers, designers, and regular fashionistas are turning to boots worn with bare legs, a look that’s a little unexpected in the summer season. When you tire of your go-to flip flops, boots offer a stylish alternative.Boots and bare legs add edge to summer basics and are the perfect trend for this week’s Fashion Challenge.

Lara Stone, still delicious

It looks as if I was previously mistaken when I speculated that Lara Stone had been replaced as the face of DKNY's delicious campaign. Her absence seems to have been a temporary one, instead Lara and her apples have been re-dubbed as "Golden Delicious" for Donna Karan's latest fragrance campaign.

Summer Makeup Tips

1. Make time for primer. You won't regret the few seconds it will take to smooth on a primer, which goes on after moisturizer but before face makeup. Like house-paint primer, it provides a smooth base for whatever goes on next. "Primers are definitely the way to go in summer," says New York City makeup artist Ashunta Sheriff. "They're incredibly light — they don't feel at all like a heavy, additional layer — and they really help hold makeup in place." We've got the evidence: In a Good Housekeeping Research Institute test, primer helped volunteers' makeup look better and hold up throughout the day (even after a sweltering stint in our 80-degree, high-humidity chamber); Smashbox Photo Finish Foundation Primer Light ($36, Sephora) proved to be the very best of the bunch.

2. Lighten your face makeup. "Just as you switch to breezy skirts and linen blouses, dress your face with lighter makeup," says Surratt. First step: Swap foundation for tinted moisturizer. These sheer formulas look and feel airier on skin and are less likely to turn cakey on steamy days. Try Shiseido The Skincare Tinted Moisture Protection SPF 20 ($36, department stores) or Mary Kay Tinted Moisturizer SPF 20 ($18, marykay.com). Feeling a little too exposed? Surratt recommends brushing powder foundation over the tinted moisturizer in spots where you need a little extra coverage — say, on blemishes or areas of redness around your nose. Try CoverGirl TruBlend Minerals Pressed Mineral Foundation ($8, drugstores) or Jane Iredale Amazing Base ($42, janeiredaledirect.com).

3. Bronze believably. "Bronzer makes your eyes look brighter, your teeth whiter — everyone looks better with a little warmth added to their skin," says Surratt. To keep the results looking fresh and natural, he recommends applying bronzer just to the high points of your face, where the sun naturally hits you: forehead, cheekbones, chin, and nose. (Covering every nook and cranny is what gives you that fake, baked look.) Powder bronzers are the easiest to apply; look for one with varying shades — they'll swirl together for the most authentic-looking results. Try Wet n Wild Beauty Benefits Beauty Brilliance Bronzing Powder ($8, drugstores) or Physicians Formula Magic Mosaic Multi-Colored Custom Face Powder in Warm Beige/Light Bronzer ($13, drugstores). Another essential for keeping it real: a brush with long, loose, fluffy bristles — anything densely packed will deposit too much color. Prescriptives Bronzer Brush ($32, department stores) is a great choice. And be sure to sweep a little bronzer onto your neck and earlobes, especially if you have short hair or are wearing a ponytail. A tan face that's framed by pale ears will out you fast.

4. Switch out thick lipsticks. Since heavy lip colors often feel like overkill once the weather warms up, many women opt for clear balm or skip their lips altogether. But just because you're feeling low-maintenance doesn't mean you have to look it. A simple swipe-and-go choice: tinted lip balms. "They give you whisper-light color, and many even have SPF to protect you from the sun," says Surratt. Try Neutrogena MoistureShine Tinted Lip Balm SPF 20 ($7, drugstores) or Jane Be Pure Mineral Lip Balm ($4, drugstores).

5. Stop shine, add glow. A slick T-zone instantly telegraphs the message "I'm hot" — and we don't mean sexy. To eliminate unsightly shine in seconds, nothing beats blotting papers. "They're cheap, easy, and amazing — you just press and go," says Sheriff. Try Too Faced Re-Fresh Oil Blotting Papers ($12, Sephora). If you need to perk up your makeup too, blot first, then follow up with a dusting of pressed powder with a hint of luminescence. "You want to eliminate shine, but you still want to look a little glow-y, especially in summer," says Surratt. Try Sally Hansen Natural Beauty Luminous Matte Pressed Powder ($12, drugstores).

Fall 2011 colour trends: Autumn / Winter 2011

It's time to gaze into the crystal ball and take a look at the colour trends that will sit as a part ofautumn / fall 2011 fashion trends. Understandably what we're seeing so far is largely aspirational: a year's colour trends are always less about particular styles and more about evoking the imagination.

Nu Vogue

Avant-garde and prevailing chic. Bronze tones of state of the art style flirt endlessly with bold confidence. Olive yarns mixed with shades of pale goldenrod give knits an alluring appeal.

Urban Romance
A tale of metropolitan melodrama. Midnight blue and silver, grey shades of cultural diversity and cosmopolitan give textured stitching equilibrium and charm. Memoirs of city nostalgia.

 Edge of Night

Beyond the limits of darkness. Mysterious shades of forest green and plum amplify sequined edges and ruffled chiffon. Deep violet shades of exuberance ring a call of precision to manipulated, silken yarn. Silver finishes give luxuriant motifs added ingenuity.

Fill Seeker

The pursuit of extravagant ornamentation. Luscious shades of hot pink intertwine majestically within bastiste and silken silhouettes. Burnt orange tones of superfluity fuse methodically on a canvas of raschel knit.
